Registering an account with us
Registering an account makes it easier for you to find and apply for jobs with us, and it makes it easier for us to find you.
When you create an account and enter your personal details you can also enter the details of your referees, upload covering letters, resumes, and other types of documents, and automatically use these details when making applications.
To register an account with us click 'Register Now' from our home page and then follow the instructions provided.
Once you have registered with us, you have the option of creating a job agent. Job agents create electronic job searches for vacancies that meet criteria that you have specified. Automated email notification of vacancies of interest will then be sent to you. To set up a job agent, simply follow these steps:
- Log in and go to your Personal Homepage
- Select "add a new job agent to help you search for jobs"
- Create and advanced search
- Save the search.
The search criteria will be based on the words you enter in the "text to find" area. Be specific as possible. For example if you enter "senior marketing lecturer", you will receive automated alerts if these three words appear, either together or separately throughout the job description of any vacancy that has just been loaded. Automated emails are sent Monday to Friday nights.
Joining the talent pool
To help us find you, join our talent pool. That way, if we think you're suitable for a pending vacancy, we can find you and get in touch. While uploading your CV and covering letter is entirely optional, doing so will ensure we have all the information we need to match your interests with further options as they open here at Massey, so we strongly recommend it. Documents can be updated or deleted at any time from the personal homepage.
Once you have an account with us, you can choose to subscribe and unsubscribe from talent pool by selecting this from the bottom of the Personal and contact details page.
